Lou Rossi – Guitar/Vocals/Musical Director
From Los Angeles, Lou was introduced to music early in life, his parents’ record collection made sure he was well steeped in popular and jazz music of the day; Nat King Cole, Tony Bennett, Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, Sergio Mendez and Brazil 66, Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass, to name but a few. Lou had early exposure to the guitar as well. At age four, his brother, in high school at that time, gave guitar lessons and played guitar in a surf band. In Lou’s first band, at age 13, Lou played covers of popular rock songs of the day. And he would continue to work in Classic Rock, Pop, R&B and Jazz bands for the next five decades. Lou discovered Jimi Hendrix at age 14 and sailed through high school with blinders on; searching out every Hendrix recording he could find. College brought a new adventure; all the students in the Music Department were listening to jazz and fusion. Virtually overnight, Lou stopped listening to Hendrix and started listening to George Benson. A myriad of great jazz artists soon joined Lou’s listening roster. In 1999, Lou recorded his first CD as leader; Powers Of Three, by The Lou Rossi Jazz Posse, features two original compositions and a handful of classic jazz covers. Lou has appeared on several albums of diverse musical styles on both guitar and bass guitar.
Gene McAllister – Drums/Percussion
Gene "Geno" McAllister was born and raised in Kearny, New Jersey. He started playing drums at a very early age and is completely self-taught. During his high school years, he played timpani in a classical music orchestra exchange in Toronto Canada. He also participated in jazz projects as well as wedding bands, rock bands, blues bands, original music bands and funk/dance bands. In the 80's, Geno professionally recorded tracks for an original rock band in New York City. He has played at countless clubs including The Dirt Club, CBGB's, and the Showplace. Geno returned to the music scene after a long career in law enforcement.
Mike Antonovich – Bass Guitar
Hailing from Washington D.C. and having spent a decade in Colorado, Mike Antonovich, an accomplished bass player, now calls Allentown, Pennsylvania home. With a lifelong devotion to music, he has traversed genres, playing with luminaries like Joshua Rich, Mike Gwynn and the Free Radicals, Harry Harpoon, Howard Berkman, Dusty Onyx, The Reckoning, and his current venture, Northeast Express. His musical influences, spanning classic rock, pop, reggae, and funk, combine into a proficiency of jazz, which remains his true love. Through his dynamic basslines, Mike weaves grooves beyond words, showcasing a journey that echoes in hearts, reaffirming his everlasting passion for music.
Danny Incalcaterra – Keyboards
Born and raised in the Lehigh Valley, Danny started taking piano lessons shortly after his fifth birthday. While growing up, Danny would often listen to his parent’s record collection which eventually led to him hearing the overdriven growl of Jon Lord’s Hammond B3 on Deep Purple’s Machine Head. This spark would ignite the fire of funk, jazz, blues, and pop music that would dominate his world. His high school band, Crystal Lotus, would record and release their only album in 2010 (Mellowtonin’ - available on Spotify), but his passion for live playing continues on. Some of his other influences include Jimmy Smith, Donny Hathaway, Booker T. Washington, Ray Manzarek (The Doors), and Bill Payne (Little Feat).
Bill Glose – Saxophones & Flute/Business Manager
A Lehigh Valley native, Bill began playing saxophone in fourth grade. He began playing professionally in junior high school when he started The New Generation and played with that group for over ten years. His musical passion was to play big band music from the 30’s and 40’s as well as jazz. During this time, he spent countless hours arranging charts for his band. Bill studied music and graduated from Lebanon Valley College with a degree in business administration. While in college, he played in the LVC College Jazz Band and filled in with many bands throughout Central PA. After college, Bill continued to lead the New Generation and play with the Matt Gillespie Big Band as well as other bands throughout eastern PA. Bill has also done recording studio work.
